Documentary
I come from a mining village in the North East of England and was delighted to be commissioned by a government department to document an area near Newcastle that was due for 're-development'. Sadly, following more recent visits, this appears to have meant the 'under-development' of a society that I remember as being social, close and caring. I wonder if the banter of the pits and fish quays has carried though to the malls and call centres?
